International technology conference

Three stages, two days and one broadcast that could not drop for a second.

About the project

The brief was simple: the audience in the hall and the viewer behind a screen had to get the same event. Three stages meant three parallel broadcasts, each starting on the minute and ending together.

I set the camera plan, the gallery position and the backup connections, walked the speakers through the slide and microphone logic, and stayed in contact with both the stage crew and the organiser for two days. The broadcast went out on schedule and stayed up from start to finish.

Recordings were online the same evening, each stage separately, so an attendee could find the exact talk they had missed.
